Boxcar Sound Recording Studio’s
A little over a year ago I opened a recording studio with two other music producers Sean Pearson and Ben Somer and completely neglected this blog for the most part since then. Writing has always been something that has kept me sane when I’m not behind a console or working on records. So I promised myself recently that I would start writing more consistently, and use this blog to give insight on what its like working as a music producer in todays recording industry. I plan to completely nerd out and write about production methods, mixing techniques, other producers I admire, and a fuck load of gear reviews. If you have no idea what an 1176 is, consider this a warning that this blog might not be for you.
My studio is located in the east end of Hamilton Ontario and like I said it is just over a year old. I took a while to finally get the Boxcar off the ground but now business is finally blooming and we are very fortunate to work with many amazing artists and musicians.
